Who is responsible
Costa Rica Legal Guide is published by Napoleón Contreras. Contact: hello@costaricalegalguide.com.
What we collect
- Contact request: name, email, country, optional phone or WhatsApp, the type of help you need, your timeline and your message.
- Technical context: the page you submitted from and campaign (UTM) parameters, to understand which pages work.
- Analytics: if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records pages visited, the button or link you clicked (for example the header button) and your approximate location. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded.
Please do not send passports, bank details, medical or other sensitive information in the form.
Why we use it
To keep you on the waitlist and email you when an independent bilingual law firm is available, to reply to you, to prevent spam and to improve the site.
Who receives it
Today we keep your request ourselves and do not share it. When an independent law firm becomes available, we will email you and ask for your express permission before sharing any of your details with it. If you do not agree, we do not share them. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist requests for 12 months and then delete them, unless you ask us to keep them longer or to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@costaricalegalguide.com. This applies to everyone, in any country, and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
Requests are stored outside the public web folder and sent by email. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid sending sensitive documents through the form.
